Earthquake

by M. Eichhorst

The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households,

and all the people who were with Korah, and the entire wealth.

Numbers 16:32

The Bible talks about many Earthquakes and Earthquakes which will occur slowly and will

increase in frequency (as Birth-Pains) as the Time of Great Sufferings comes to a close.

This Time of Great Sufferings is believed to have begun in c.1995CE which is 2,000 years

after the Birth of the Messiah in c.5BCE and possible will conclude in c.2030CE which is

2,000 years after the Crucifixion of the Messiah in c.30CE.

Matthew 24

21. For then will be great suffering such as has not been from the beginning of the world

until the present, nor will ever be again.

First Thessalonians 5 1. But concerning the times and seasons, my Brothers, you need not that I write to you: 2. for you know assuredly, that the day of our Master (Yeshua) so comes as a thief by night. 3. While they will be saying, “peace and quietness,” then suddenly destruction will burst upon them as distress upon a child-bearer, and they will not escape. 4. But you, my Brothers, are not in darkness; that day should not overtake you as a thief. Forgiveness of our Sins First Yochanan 1 (First John 1) 7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Yeshua his Son cleanses us from all our sins. 8. And if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all our iniquity. 10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not with us. The past in the Bible talks about the punishment of mankind for not obeying.

Korach (Korah) was the leader of a rebellion against Moshe (Moses) and his brother

Aharon (Aaron), during the journey of the Israelites from Egypt to the Land of Israel. As

punishment, he met his end by miraculously being swallowed up by the earth.

Korah was jealous of the fact that Aaron had been chosen as High Priest, to the exclusion

of anyone else. Furthermore, his cousin Elitzafan had been chosen as head of the Levite

family of Kehot, to which Korah belonged, and Korah felt this position was rightfully his.

Korah: The Rebel of the Bible

By Yehuda Altein

__________

All the people with Korah was cast into the earth into the pit of hell alive with all their

possessions.

Numbers 16

31. When he (Moshe) finished speaking all the words, the ground that was under them spit

open.

32. The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households, and all the

people who were with Korah, and the entire wealth.

33. They and all that was theirs descended alive to the pit; the earth covered them over and

they were lost from among the congregation.

34. All Israel that was around them fled at their sound, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow

us!”

35. A flame come forth from El Shaddai and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who

were offering the incense.

All the congregation complained that Moses had killed Korah and all the people with him,

so El Shaddai (God Almighty) caused a plague to occur that killed 14,700 people.

250 people plus 14,700 people equals 14,950 people were killed by El Shaddai for

disobeying and complaining about Moshe and Aharon.

Numbers 17

6. The entire assembly of the Children of Israel complained on the morrow against Moshe

and Aharon saying, “You have killed the people of El Shaddai”.

9. El Shaddai spoke to Moshe saying,

10. Remove yourselves from among this assembly and I shall destroy them in an instant”.

They fell on their faces.

11. Moshe said to Aharon, “Take the fire-pan and put on it fir from upon the Altar and place

incense and go quickly to the assembly and provide atonement for them, for the fury has

gone out from the presence of El Shaddai; the plague has begun”.

12. Aharon took as Moshe had spoken and ran to the midst of the congregation and behold,

the plague had begun among the people. He placed the incense and provided atonement

for the people.

13. He stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was checked.

14. Those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand, seven hundred, aside from

those who died because of the affair of Korah.

This should be a warning to the people in the world today as El Shaddai told us that there

will be Famines and Plagues and Earthquakes which will consume the earth.

There are a lot of verses in the Bible which talk about Earthquakes.

Matthew 24

7. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be

famines and plagues and earthquakes in different places.

8. But all these things are only the beginning of sorrows.

Luke 21

10. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.

11. And there will be severe earthquakes from place to place and famine and plagues. And

there will be fears and terrors and great signs will be seen from Heaven. And the winters

will be severe.

Mark 13 (Yochanan called Markus by the Romans)

7. But when you hear of wars and rumors of revolutions, do not have fear. This is bound to

happen but is yet not the end.

8. For nation will arise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be

earthquakes in various places. And there will be famine and uprisings. These things are the

beginning of sorrows.

Acts 16

26. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, and the foundations of the prison were

shaken; and at once all the doors opened, and the bands of all were loosed.

Matthew 27

45. Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

46. And about the ninth hour, Yeshua cried out with a loud voice and said, “My El! My El!

[Lemana shabakthani] (meaning: My God! My God!) Why have you spared me?

The words “Why have you Forsaken me?” in the Christian Bible is a mistranslation as El

Shaddai never forsaken his Son Yeshua. The actual word meaning from the Brit

Chadashah (New Covenant) notes “forsaken” as false teaching that the Father left his son

Yeshua destitute (Marcionite thinking) and should read “spared”.

The reason Yeshua says “My God! My God! Why have you spared me” to also mean “Why

are you sparing me” is because he has proven his commitment by laying down his life and

has already endured the Roman Empire’s execution from the sixth hour to the ninth hour.

So, it doesn’t have the meaning of being “forsaken” but that he literally means, “Father, I’m

ready, why can’t we finish this?

The 6th Hour: 12pm to 1pm

The 7th Hour: 1pm to 2pm

The 8th Hour: 2pm to 3pm

The 9th Hour: 3pm to 4pm

This means that when Yeshua said… “My El! My El! Why have you spared me?” means he

has endured nearly 4 hours of the Roman Empire’s execution on the cross and was

wanting to end this horrible ordeal. Being a man, he endured all the horrible pains of death,

and he also took all our pain for our sins; past, present, and future of all of mankind.

Matthew 27

47. And some of those men who were standing there when they heard it were saying, “This

man calls to Eliyyahu (Elijah).”

48. And immediately, one of them ran and took a sponge and filled it with vinegar and put it

on a reed and was offering a drink to him.

49. But the rest were saying, “Let him be. Let us see if Eliyahu comes to save him.”

50. Then again Yeshua cried out with a loud voice and gave up his spirit.

51. And immediately, the curtains at the door of the temple were torn in two from the top to

the bottom. And the earth was shaken (earthquake), and the rocks were split.

Future Bible Prophecy of the Two Witnesses

Revelation 11

3. And I will give my two witnesses; and they will prophesy a thousand and two hundred

and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

7. And when they will have completed their testimony, the beast of prey that came up from

the abyss will make war upon them and will overcome them.

8. And their dead bodies (will be) in the open street of that great city (Jerusalem), which is

spiritually called Sadom and Egypt, where also their Master (Yeshua) was executed on the

stake (cross).

11. And after these three days and a half, the Spirit of Life from El Shaddai entered into

them, and they stood upon their feet: and great fear fell on those who saw them.

12. And they heard a great voice from heaven, which said to them: “Come up here.” And

they ascended to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies saw them.

13. And in the same hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell:

and the persons killed in the earthquake were seven thousand names: and they who

remained were afraid and gave glory to El Shaddai.
