The Good News of Mark
Yochanan [Hebrew name] called Marqus [Roman name]. John called Mark was born in 5 C.E. in
Cyrene, Cyrenaica (Libya today – coastal area near Egypt) and was born Hebrew in a Jewish and
Greek community, the son of a widow woman named Maryam (Mary) (Acts 12:12-17) and was the
cousin of Barnabas born Hebrew on the Island of Cyprus and who traveled with Rav Shaul of Tarsus
(Rabbi Paul of Tarsus) and his cousin Yochanan called Marqus (John called Mark) traveled with both
of them on Rav Shaul of Tarsus (Rabbi Paul of Tarsus) first trip only, he was born Hebrew (Jewish)
and was “not” one of the twelve Talmidim (Disciples); however, he became a later Disciple from the
teachings of Rav. Yehoshua (Rabbi Y’shua).
Yochanan called Marqus (John called Mark) wrote the Good News of Mark sometime between 55 and
59 C.E. and was the first book written in the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant). Yochanan called
Marqus (John called Mark) would go on to assist Dr. Luke and Rav Shaul (Rabbi Saul called Paul)
with the ministry. Yochanan called Marqus founded the Synagogue in Alexandria, Egypt (was later
changed to the Church in Alexandria) and was known as “The Evangelist”. Both Yochanan called
Marqus (John called Mark) and Barnabas were known as “Translators” which knew Hebrew, Aramaic,
Latin, Greek, and possible Egyptian while Aramaic was the predominate language everywhere.
After Rabbi Yeshua’s Crucifixion he was around the latter Disciples of Dr. Luke, Rabbi Saul called
Paul, John called Mark and the ministry where Mattathia (Matthew) wrote the Good News of Matthew
before 70 C.E. He was not a witness to Rabbi Yeshua but was a witness to the ministry of Rabbi Saul
called Paul including the writings of Dr. Luke, Rabbi Saul called Paul, John called Mark and the other
latter Talmid (Disciples) and Shlichim (sent ones, emissaries).
The Good News of Matthew
Mattathia (Matthew) was Born in Beth-Lekhem, Yehuda (Bethlehem, Judea, Israel today) about the
time of Yeshua’s Birth and was born Hebrew (Jewish). Later he was a tax collector briefly until Rav
Yehoshua (Rabbi Yeshua) ordained him one of his twelve Talmids (Disciples). He was in Capernaum,
Galilee, Israel and in Nazareth and followed Rabbi Yeshua into Jerusalem, Judea, Israel.
The entire Brit Chadashah was written before 100 C.E. 213 years before the Catholic Church was
created by the Roman Empire’s Emperor Constantinus (Constantine) in 313 C.E.
