The First Temple of God and
The Ark of the Covenant
by M. Eichhorst
“And the temple of El Shaddai in heaven was opened; and the ark of His
Covenant was seen in his temple: and there were flashes of lightning and
thunders, and voices and an earthquake, and great hail”.
Revelation 11:19
The Ark of the Covenant is where the Ten Commandment were placed and is where God
appeared upon the top of the Ark, when he talked with Moshe (Moses) about the
commandments for the Children of Israel. God sat on the cover between the two Cherubim,
which are the Messenger Angels; one on the head and the other at the foot upon the cover of
the Ark. God sat between the two.
“They shall make an Ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits its length; a cubit and a half its
width; and a cubit and a half its height. You shall cover it with pure gold, from within and from
without shall you cover it, and you shall make on it a gold crown all around. You shall cast for it
four rings of gold and place them on its four corners, two rings on its one side and two rings on
its second side. You shall make staves of acacia wood and cover them with gold; and insert the
staves in the rings on the sides of the Ark, with which to carry the Ark. The staves shall remain
in the rings of the Ark; they may not be removed from it. You shall place in the Ark the
Testimonial-tablets that I shall give you. You shall make a Cover of pure gold, two and a half
cubits its length; and a cubit and a half its width. You shall make two Cherubim of gold, two and
a half cubits its length; and a cubit and a half its width. You shall make two Cherubim of gold –
hammered out shall you make them – from both ends of the Cover. You shall make one
Cherub from the end at one side and one Cherub from the end at the other; from the Cover
shall you make the Cherubim at its two ends. The Cherubim shall be with wings spread
upward, sheltering the Cover with their wings with their faces toward one another; toward the
Cover shall be the faces of the Cherubim. You shall place the Cover on the Ark from above,
and into the Ark shall you place the Testimonial-tablets that I shall give you. It is there that I will
set My meetings with you, and I shall speak with you from atop the Cover, from between the
two Cherubim that are on the Ark of the Testimonial-tablets, everything that I shall command
you to the Children of Israel.
Exodus 25: 10-22
The Ark of the Covenant was placed by Moshe (Moses) as commanded by God in the
Tabernacle and was placed in a specific place within the Tabernacle. The specific place was
called the Holy of Holies. A sacred place. There is more which can be mentioned about the
specifics of the Ark.
Definition;
Cherubim means Winged Heavenly Messenger Angels
The Cherubim could have the faces of a lion, ox, or man. They were the guardians of the
Garden of Eden and their image was placed of a man, like a child face, on the Ark of the
Covenant in the Holy of Holies of the Tabernacle. It was also mentioned that God rode the
Cherub.
“He mounted a cherub and flew, He appeared on the wings of the wind.”
2 Samuel 22: 11
The Cherubim had large wings, and the faces of young children, like the angles Isaiah (chapter
6) and Ezekiel (chapters 1-10) saw in their vision of the Heavenly Court. The entire Cover,
including the Cherubim, had to be hammered out, of one large ingot of gold.

Footnotes - Commentary
The Stone edition of the Tanach (Torah)
The Ark of the Covenant was taken to Jerusalem, Israel and was placed into the first temple of
God.
What happened to the Ark of the Covenant?
The Ark of the Covenant was removed before the destruction of the first Temple of God and
God became angry with mankind that the first Temple was destroyed so God removed the Ark
from mankind. He than created a new Temple of God in Heaven.
God spoke to Zachariah the Prophet
“In the eighth month in the second year of Darius the word of El Shaddai came to Zechariah
son of Berechiah, son of Iddo, the prophet saying: El Shaddai became wrathful with your
forefather wrath”.
Zachariah 1:1-2
“Do not be like your fathers to whom the prophets of old called out saying thus said El Shaddai,
Master of Legions; Return now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds but they did not
listen nor pay attention to Me, the word of El Shaddai”.
Zachariah 1:4
Documents tells us what happened to it from the Maccabees in the Apocrypha but is not part of
the Bible.
The First Temple of El Shaddai (God Almighty)
The Ark of the Covenant, The Golden Menorah, The Alter in Incense, The Table of the Bread of
the Presence
The Tabernacle (The Holy of Holies)
It was also contained in the same writing, that the Prophet Jeremiah being warned by God,
commanded the tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant to go with Him, as he went forth into
the mountain where Moshe (Moses) climbed up and saw the heritage of God. And when
Jerimiah came to that place on the mountain of Eloah (God), he found a hollow cave wherein
he placed the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, and the Altar of Incense in it and sealed the
door of the cave and then he concealed it that no one could find it.
Second Maccabees 2:4-5
God than took the Ark of the Covenant, the Tabernacle, and the Altar of incense and took it to
Heaven to be with Him. He then built a new Temple of God in Heaven and placed them in it.
“And the Temple of Eloah (God) in Heaven was opened; and the ark of His Covenant was seen
in His Temple: and there were flashes of lightning and thunders, and voices and an
earthquake, and great hail”.
Revelation 11:19
The man-made Ark of the Covenant had to leave so “the Living Ark of the Covenant” could
come.
The Living Ark of the Covenant is: Rabbi Yeshua the Messiah.
After the crucifixion of Rabbi Yeshua on Calvary. Joseph of Arimathea which was a rich man
and one of the Talmidim (Disciples) of Rabbi Yeshua and went to Pilate and begged him for the
body of Rabbi Yeshua; then Joseph received permission and wrapped him in a shroud,
according to Hebrew burial rights, and placed him in a new tomb where no one was had been
placed before and was originally a place meant for Joseph of Arimathea; Joseph than placed
Rabbi Yeshua in his burial tomb.
“And Yosip (Joseph) took the body and wrapped it in a shroud of fine linen. And he laid it in his
new tomb, which was hewn in rock. And they rolled a large boulder and they placed it upon the
entrance of the tomb. And they departed”.
Matthew 27: 59-60
Then the Pharisees came together unto Pilate and worried about what Rabbi Yeshua said that
he will be raised from the dead. Begged Pilate to place a guard about the entrance of the tomb
so no one would steal the body and claim that it was the resurrection. So, Pilate place a guard
to watch over the tomb.
This occurred on Thursday before sunset and before when the day changed to Friday at
6:00pm, and at the beginning of the week in the evening of Saturday when the day changed to
Sunday, the moment after the Holy Sabbath, a great earthquake occurred.
“Now in the closing (evening) of the Sabbath, as the first of the week was dawning, came
Maryam of Magdala (Maryam of the City of Magdalene) and the other Maryam that they might
see the grave. And behold a great earthquake occurred for a Messenger Angel of Master
YHVH (God the father) descended from heaven and came and rolled away the boulder from
the entrance, and he was sitting upon it. And his appearance was like lightning and his clothes
were white like snow. And from the fear of him, those who were watching trembled and they
became like the dead. But the Messenger Angel answered and said to the women, “Do not
fear, for I know that Yeshua who was executed on the stake, you seek. He is not here. For he
has risen as he said. Come see the place in which he was laid.”
Matthew 28:1-6
The city of Magdala, Israel today is on the sea of Galilee which is the accent city called
Magdala, Galilee or known in English as the city of Magdalene and is approximately 6 miles
north from the capital city of Tiberias, Galilee, Israel today where the Governor Herod of
Galilee tormented Rabbi Yeshua in his last days before his crucifixion and approximately 24
miles from the city of Nazareth. Is there no wonder Rabbi Yeshua knew Maryam of the city of
Magdala (Magdalene)?
Then Maryam of the city of Magdalene, Maryam mother of James, Joanna, and other women
came to anoint with oil and spices according to Hebrew burial rights went to the burial tomb,
and found the tomb was open, and was astonished. Mary of Magdalene went inside the tomb
and saw two angels (Cherubim); one at the head and the other at the foot of the burial cloth of
Rabbi Yeshua of Nazareth and appeared unto Maryam of Magdalene. Then Rabbi Yeshua also
appeared.
“And she saw two Messenger Angels clothed in white who were sitting, one at his [head] pillow
and one at the foot of the bed, where the body of Yeshua had lain. And they said to her,
“Woman, why do you weep?” She said to them, “Because they have taken my Master and I do
not know where they have laid him.” She said this, and she turned her head around and saw
Yeshua standing behind her. And she did not know that it was Yeshua”.
John 20:12-14
It is this depiction of the two angles also known as Cherubim which appeared as men; one at
the head and the other at the foot of where Rabbi Yeshua was laid, which is the depiction of
the “Living Ark of the Covenant” which is the Living Word, which is our Savior, Rabbi Yeshua,
the Messiah.
The physical man-made Ark of the Covenant went into Heaven to be placed in the New Temple
of God in Heaven created by El Shaddai (God Almighty). The lamb needed to be slain and
offered as a burnt offering on the alter in the Temple of God on Earth of the blood spilled upon
the alter for the remission of their sins. As a “substitute” in Heaven with the Temple of God not
made by man but made by God; The one which became as the “slain Lamb of God” of the
blood which was shed upon the cross (which became the alter) for the remission of our sins is
“Rav Yehoshua HaMashiach” (Rabbi Yeshua the Messiah) which is the reason that no one can
come unto the Father (El Shaddai – God Almighty) except through His Son Yehoshua the
Messiah.
The man-made Second Temple of Eloah (God) on earth was actually the Third Temple of Eloah
(God). The Third Temple of Eloah (God) on Earth that everyone envisions to be rebuilt in Set
Apart City of Urishlim (Jerusalem) or Yerushalom (Jerusalem) is not recorded in the entire
Bible of the Torah, Tanach or in the Brit Chadashah. So, therefore that means “NO” Third
Temple on this earth will be built.
Definitions
“El” [singular] is the Shortened Name of “Eloah”.
“Eloah” [singular] means God [singular].
“Elohim” [plural] when speaking about mankind means more than one but is [singular] when
speaking about God. It is a misinterpreted retranslation in Aramaic from the original Hebrew
Scrolls (Manuscripts) and should not be used as it is a contradiction of terms. [contradiction,
oxymoron, inconsistency, conflict, etc.].
“El Shaddai” [singular] means God Almighty. “El” means God while “Shaddai” means Almighty.
This is my preferred word.
“Adonai El Shaddai” means LORD God Almighty. Adonai means LORD [all caps] which intern
means God, Lord or lord [lower case] means of mankind [example]: Lord Acton, Lord Caesar
Emperor, il signore imperatore papà Constantinus (Lord “Emperor Pope” Constantine). We
must make a distinction between God, the Messiah, and mankind. Yeshua is not God but
rather a “Reminiscent of God” as the son of God, the King of all El Shaddai’s (God Almighty’s)
Creation, and Ha Mashiach (the Messiah) to the entire world.
The order of the Temples of Eloah
(Temple 1) Salmon’s Temple on Earth, which was man-made is the first Temple of God in
Jerusalem.
(Temple 2) New Temple of God is in Heaven made by El Shaddai (God Almighty) and is
actually the second Temple of God or the First Temple in Heaven. Not made by man. This is
where the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy of Holies (the Tabernacle), and the Altar of Incense is
at. This New Temple of God was created after the First Temple and before the Second Temple.
Because the Temple of God is so important to God is the reason why He became angry with
the priests which allowed the First Temple of God to be destroyed.
(Temple 3) Herodus Temple or the Second Temple of God on Earth was man-made where
Rabbi Yeshua preached in Jerusalem, Judea. There was NO Ark of the Covenant within it
because the “Living Ark of the Covenant” was still alive in those days.
The New Temple of God not made by mankind was descending from Heaven.
“And I saw new heavens and a new earth: for the former heaven and the former earth had
passed away: and the sea was no more. And I saw the Set Apart city, the New Urishlim,
descending from El Shaddai (God Almighty) out of heaven, prepared like a bride adorned for
her husband. And I heard a great voice from heaven, which said: “Behold, the tabernacle of El
Shaddai (God Almighty) is with men; and he dwells with them: they will be his people; and El
Shaddai will be with them, an El (God) to them. And every tear will be wiped from their eyes;
and there will no more be death, nor mourning, nor wailing; nor will pain be any more; because
the former things are passed away.” And He who sat on the throne, said: “Behold, I make all
things new.” And he said: “Write; ‘because these are the faithful and true Words of El Shaddai
(God Almighty).’” And he said to me: “I am Alpha and the Tav, the Beginning and the
Completion: to him who thirsts, will I give of the fountain of living water, freely. He that
overcomes will inherit these things; and I will be his El (God), and he will be my son”.
Revelation 21:1-7
This means El Shaddai and His Mashiach with the Temple of Eloah, the Tabernacle, the Ark of
the Covenant, the Golden Menorah, the Alter of Incense is seen in the New Jerusalem in
Heaven, coming from Heaven unto earth to be with mankind during the Messianic Age for
1,000 years.
“But to the timid and the unbelieving, and to the sinful and polluted, and to man-slayers and
sexual sinners, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and to all false persons, their portion will be in the
lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:8
